The Siemens Human-Machine Interface (HMI) is the touchscreen display installed on the front of the electrical control panel. Its function is to translate complex PLC data into images, graphs, and simple, intuitive commands for the operator. The HMI panel allows:
- Real-time monitoring: displays the status of each component (fans on/off, rotation speed, duct pressure).
- Alarm management: in the event of a fault, the panel displays a clear message indicating exactly where action is required.
- Parameter control: allows adjustment of extraction thresholds or operating times without the need to connect a PC to the control panel.
- Consumption and performance graphs: shows energy efficiency trends and operating hours, making routine maintenance planning easier.
