Operating principle
The contaminated air is extracted through the nozzle of the articulated, self-supporting extraction arm and is then conveyed into the filtration unit, which is divided into five stages:
1st stage: spark separator.
2st stage: filter cell consisting of multiple layers of galvanized steel wire, protected by two layers of electrically welded galvanized square-mesh screens.
3st stage: filter cell with pleated mesh containing resin-treated modacrylic fiber, designed to retain larger dust particles.
4st stage: "Multipack" pocket filter.
5st stage: activated carbon panel (mechanical filter) designed to adsorb odors.
The purified air is then conveyed, before discharge, into a soundproof compartment equipped with polyurethane foam panels, which reduce noise waves and minimize acoustic emissions.
